Hello! My name is Li Ming. This is my family. There are five people in my family: my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, and me. My father is a doctor. My mother is a teacher. I love my family very much!

There be 句型表达人数
There are + 数字 + people in my family. 注意 people 是集合名词，本身是复数。不用 There are five peoples（错误）。

both 的位置
both 放在 be 动词后、实义动词前：
They are both students.（be 后）
They both like sports.（实义动词前）
both...and... 连接两个并列成分：Both my father and my mother are kind.
My grandfather is sixty-eight years old. He likes fishing and reading newspapers. My grandmother is sixty-five. She enjoys cooking. She makes the best noodles in the world! My parents are both busy, but we always spend weekends together.
我的爷爷六十八岁了。他喜欢钓鱼和看报纸。我的奶奶六十五岁。她喜欢做饭。她做的面条是世界上最好吃的！我的父母都很忙，但我们总是一起度过周末。

类似动词：like, love, hate 后也常接 doing。

中国家庭文化重视三代同堂。grandparents（祖父母）常与子女同住，帮忙照顾孙辈。面条是中国传统家常食物。

演奏乐器时加 the：play the piano / the guitar / the violin。
做球类运动时不加 the：play basketball / football / tennis。
