Mr Jones: Good morning, class. Today we have a new student.
Amy: Hi! I'm Amy. I'm from the UK.
Students: Welcome, Amy!
Mr Jones: Where are you from, Zhang Peng?
Zhang Peng: I'm from Shandong, China.
Amy: China is a beautiful country!

Where are you from? = 你来自哪里？回答：I'm from + 地点/国家。这是小学第一次学习问来自哪里的句型。
Mike: Who is that boy?
Wu Binbin: He is my classmate, Liu Xin.
Mike: Is he from Canada?
Wu Binbin: No, he is from China. He is very tall.
Mike: Who is that woman?
Wu Binbin: She is our English teacher, Miss White.
Mike: She is also very nice!

Mike：他来自加拿大吗？

Who is + 人? = ……是谁？回答：He/She is + 名字/身份。与 Where 问地点不同，Who 问人。
